Anyline Aims to Improve Fleet Safety with Tire Tread Scanner

Mobile scanning solution provider Anyline has launched Commercial Tire Tread Scanner, a solution designed to help fleet operators improve tire performance and longevity, ensure driver safety and reduce vehicle inspection time. The software can be used on any camera-enabled smartphone or mobile device. Commercial Tire Scanner works by pointing the camera of any mobile device at the tire tread, creating a digital model of the tire using computer vision and AI technology.

US entrepreneur snaps up Pizza Hut Australia

US restaurant franchise operator Flynn Restaurant Group has bought Pizza Hut Australia for an undisclosed sum from Sydney-based investment firm Allegro Funds. The investment marks Flynn’s first international expansion beyond its US network of franchisee operations. The group currently operates more than 2350 restaurants across brands, including Applebee, Taco Bells, Wendy’s and Panera Bakery Cafes.
