Culture Kings Vegas store thrives, while AKA’s ANZ business struggles

The NYSE-listed parent company said that its Culture Kings flagship store in Las Vegas has already surpassed its annual revenue target. Getir Acquires NYC’s FreshDirect Grocery Delivery Service

Getir has purchased fellow grocery delivery service FreshDirect , a division of Ahold Delhaize , in a deal that is expected to close by Nov. 30, 2023. No financial details of the transaction were disclosed. Founded in 2002 and currently employing 3,200 people, the Bronx-based FreshDirect is a pioneer in New York City grocery delivery. Grocery conglomerate Ahold Delhaize acquired FreshDirect in November 2020.
