Bed Bath & Beyond has secured investor backing for more than $1 billion in capital, delaying a potential bankruptcy filing. The retailer has received commitments to raise $225 million of equity capital, initially by selling convertible preferred shares, with the remainder coming over time by issuing warrants that will require holders to purchase more preferred shares in the future.
The McDelivery service has finally made it Downunder, six years after it was launched overseas. McDonald’s latest initiative comes at a cost however. According to news.com.au customers will pay $3.99 for delivery and a 5 per cent customer service fee for orders over $12, QSR reports. Orders under $12 will cost an extra $2. The American Dream mall and entertainment complex failed to make a Feb. 1, 2023 $8.8 million debt service payment on municipal bonds sold to help finance the venture, due to insufficient funds.
