Macy’s Kicks off Private Label Transformation Strategy with First New Brand

Macy’s has unveiled the first of four new private label brands it plans to roll out through 2025 as the department store reimagines its private label offerings. The new brand, called On 34th in homage to the location of the brand’s historic NYC flagship, features apparel and accessories “designed for women, by women.” With On 34th and the three other new brands it plans to introduce, Macy’s is aiming to make its private label offerings more “customer-centric,” the company said in a statement.
