DoorDash Acquires Wolt, Expanding Operations to 27 Countries

DoorDash has acquired Wolt Enterprises , a Helsinki-based last mile delivery company. The deal will bring DoorDash to a total of 27 countries, 23 through the Wolt product and brand. The transaction is part of DoorDash’s effort to accelerate its international growth through faster product development and improved investment efficiency. Wolt CEO Miki Kuusi will oversee the combined company’s team and operations outside of the U.S., reporting directly to DoorDash CEO Tony Xu.

Myer commits to payment of living wage for garment workers
