Amazon UK has unveiled a new fleet of e-cargo bikes, walkers and electric vehicles to make more sustainable deliveries in central London. The new fleet will directly replace thousands of traditional van trips on London’s roads and will coincide with the launch of its first UK ‘micromobility hub’. The company says it will make 5 million deliveries per year across more than 10 per cent of London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone using the new e-cargo bikes and its existing fleet of electric vans.
