Flower delivery service Lvly has been acquired for $35 million by Malaysian e-commerce company Limitless Technology. As part of the deal, co-founder Hannah Spilva will take a seat on the board of Limitless Technology while Verity Tuck will leave the business. In 2019, online grocery accounted for 6.3% of total US grocery sales. The company’s CFO Clinton Cahn has been appointed acting CEO in the interim while the company searches for a permanent appointee and Amy Eshuys will take on the role of COO effective tomorrow.
