After 16 years of partnership, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) and Beam Suntory are going their separate ways. The pair will see out their current contract, which ends in 2025, then continue to operate within the beverage space separately. Since 2007, CCEP has produced and distributed Beam Suntory’s brand portfolio across Australia, which includes products such as Jim Beam, Maker’s Mark and Canadian Club, as well as a number of ready-to-drink options and non-alcoholic beverages.

Wilko buyer needs to pump in £70m as rescue talks continue

Potential buyers of stricken retailer Wilko will have to invest up to £70m to rescue the retailer. PwC, the discount chain’s advisors, is in talks with a rival discount retailer and two private equity firms as it seeks to find a buyer so Wilko can avoid collapse, The Sunday Times reported. Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group and Hilco – a lender to Wilko – are not in talks to buy the firm.

AllSaints posts record sales and profits driven by ‘intense focus on product’

AllSaints has posted its best ever annual sales and profits for the year-ended 28 January 2023 as its focus on product paid off. Sales at the fashion retailer grew by 36% to £457m for the period as profits swelled 50% to £58.6m. Chief executive Peter Wood said trading had been boosted by customers cutting back on other discretionary items to be able to afford its pricier products.
