June retail sales climb amid soaring temperatures

UK retail sales jumped in June, with rises witnessed across both food and non-food revenues. Total retail sales increased 3.1% year on year over the month, compared to a drop of 0.2% in June 2024, according to the British Retail Consortium (BRC).
