Retail vacancy rates fall across Australian CBDs

A federal administrative judge has ordered Starbucks to reopen closed stores and to reimburse back pay and pay damages to employees who lost jobs due to union organizing. Judge Michael A. Rosas wrote that Starbucks acted with “a general disregard for the employees’ fundamental rights” as guaranteed under federal labor law.
