B&Q has opened a new 41,000 square foot store at Altrincham Retail Park, marking the first of eight former Homebase locations to be relaunched under the brand. Situated on George Richards Way (WA14 5GR), the store aims to provide home improvement products and services to local customers, including both retail and trade visitors. The new site employs 38 colleagues, 19 of whom transferred from Homebase and 19 who were newly recruited.
Weeks after speculation swirled through the fashion world, Prada Group has confirmed its acquisition of Versace from Capri Holdings in a deal worth $1.375 billion. The transaction, which grants Prada 100 per cent ownership of the flamboyant Milanese house, will bring two of Italys most iconic luxury brands under one roof. Fashion retailer Mango has opened a new store at Highcross Leicester , becoming the brands only location currently operating in Leicestershire. The store officially launched on 11 April and is located on the upper mall of the city centre destination. Mytheresa has received regulatory approval from the European Commission to acquire Yoox Net-A-Porter.
