jewelry sales were up sharply in July compared to the same month in 2020 as well as in 2019, according to Mastercard SpendingPulse. The growth was part of a larger trend in which retail sales overall grew for the 11th consecutive month. Jewelry sales were up 82.6 percent compared with July 2020, according to the survey.
