As Netflix continued to gain subscribers it took Blockbuster six years to launch a similar service of its own in 2004 called Blockbuster Online. If you didn’t return your movie rental on time you were charged a dollar a day. Viacom bought Blockbuster in 1994 and then spun it out in 2004. Poor execution. Do you like this content?
