Formerly known as the Self-Service Innovation Awards, the Automation & Self-Service Awards will be presented during an awards ceremony at the Self-Service Innovation Summit Dec. 4-6 in Miami.
Nominations are now being accepted for the Automation & Self-Service Awards, formerly the Self-Service Innovation Awards, the official awards of the Self-Service Innovation Summit and AutomationAndSelfService.com.
The awards honor innovators who are leading the way in the advancement of automation and self-service technologies, including vending, kiosks, robotics and artificial intelligence.
The annual Automation & Self-Service Awards program aims to inspire and educate companies on how automation and self-service technologies can enhance productivity and profitability while optimizing both the customer and employee experience.
The awards are open to companies across all industries and of all sizes. Any automation or self-service technology project a company worked on that was completed after Oct. 1, 2022 is eligible for nomination. Companies can nominate a single solution/project in more than one category.
A panel of judges will select finalists and winners in each category. Finalists will be notified not later than Oct. 20, 2023 and winners will be revealed during an awards ceremony at the Self-Service Innovation Summit Dec. 4-6 in Miami.
The nomination fee is $200 per category and all nominations must be submitted by Sept. 22, 2023.
Following are the seven award categories.
A newly introduced solution that enables a customer to make a selection and complete a purchase from a vending machine efficiently.
A newly introduced self-service concept or technology that allows a user to access information or select a product efficiently from an unattended device.
A newly introduced solution that enhances a consumer's ability to access information or select a product using a mobile device.
A newly introduced solution that uses robotic technology to enable a user to accomplish a task efficiently.
A newly introduced solution that uses artificial intelligence to enable a user to accomplish a task efficiently.
A newly introduced solution that improves the ability of people with disabilities to access information or select a product.
A person who has contributed exceptionally to the advancement of automation and self-service technology in the past year. There is no cost to submit a nomination in this category.
