JD Sports will still allow a flexible approach, depending on individual roles and responsibilities, and said it believes the move will give works more room for personal development, collaboration and teamwork.

The sports retailer is understood to have changed the policy to ensure a fair and consistent approach across its global offices given the majority of its staff work in its stores.
JD Sports follows Boots, THG, and Amazon that have overhauled their flexible working policies in recent months.
Boots managing director Seb James informed staff in March the business was reverting back to working in the office five days a week to allow its three head offices to become a “normal place of work” again for employees.
