Arc’teryx will be significantly upsizing to a new flagship store at 42 King Street in Covent Garden.
The Canadian high performance outdoor apparel and accessories retailer will be opening a new anchor 8,000 sq ft space at 42 King Street early next year, marking a 400% increase in its retail footprint within Covent Garden.
Sitting adjacent to brands such as Glossier, Apple, Aēsop, the store will house the its full range of technical gear, footwear, and accessories for a variety of outdoor sports, such as mountaineering, climbing, hiking, skiing and more.

Arc’teryx EMEA General Manager Sven Radtke added: “The upsizing in Covent Garden is a very exciting step forward for Arc’teryx. We have seen a lot of success since its opening two years ago and plan to open a bigger store to fully immerse our guests into an elevated experience of our brand.
“In this key location within London, the new brand store in Covent Garden will showcase a wider range of products and services for our community to enjoy such as ReBIRD™, our circularity program that focuses on the care and repair, and up-cycling of our products.”
The news of Arc’teryx’s new store signing follows the recent opening of performance footwear and apparel brand Hoka, marking the running brand’s first retail location in Europe.
