Ebay has launched a new ‘resell on eBay’ feature, allowing users to list their clothing online with “just a few clicks of a button”.
The marketplace giant said the feature has been designed to transform the way consumers can resell their pre-loved fashion items and deliver brands a new way to participate in the circular fashion economy.
The feature will be built into Certilogo’s Secure by Design digital ID, accessible by scanning a connected product’s smart label.
When the authentication process is complete, an eBay listing will be pre-filled with information from the brand about the item.

eBay acquired Certilogo back in July 2023 to boost its pre-loved fashion business.

Last month eBay revealed it had ditched seller fees for fashion items in a bid to boost the resale market as it estimates there is £16.3bn worth of unworn items in UK wardrobes.
