John Lewis launches ‘best ever’ discounts and prizes for Members’ Week

John Lewis is ramping up its Members’ Week with loyalty card members set to benefit from what it called “the best ever line-up of treats and events” between 1-7 May.

Using their My John Lewis card, members will have access to store-wide discounts and a range of prizes, including £500 of holiday spending from John Lewis Finance.

Members can also attend a variety of in-store events that have been tailored to local branches and areas, including beauty masterclasses, food and drink tastings, and fashion talks from personal stylists.

The retail group is looking to launch a pan-partnership loyalty programme, which will merge the My John Lewis and My Waitrose schemes together.

CEO Nish Kankiwala said last month that the move would “build on the trust and lifetime value of our customers that shop our brands”.

The retailer also poached Tesco’s head of loyalty strategy Emily Wells as its first pan-Partnership head of loyalty last year.

It also unveiled partnerships with the architects of Tesco Clubcard Dunnhumby and Eagle Eye last year in a bid to deepen its relationships with customers and provide them with more benefits.
