Costco Wholesale Sells Imitation of Anthropologie’s Luxury Goods Mirror
January 19, 2024
Costco Wholesale, known for its wide-ranging product offerings and value for money, is making waves in the arena of luxury home décor. The bulk retailer is selling a floor mirror that bears an uncanny similarity to a high-end item from Anthropologie. The catch? Costco’s mirror is priced at just under $150, a stark contrast to the Anthropologie mirror’s commanding price of $1,198.
The buzzworthy piece from Costco is the Ravena Floor Mirror. It has become a sensation on social media, with a TikTok video on a Costco fan account amassing a whopping 1.4 million views. Judging by the comments, customers are having a tough time getting a hold of this attractive mirror.
Costco’s Ravena Floor Mirror, measuring 65 inches in height and 30 inches in width and weighing around 45 pounds, costs only around $149.99. It’s gained a reputation as a budget-friendly alternative or “dupe” for Anthropologie’s Luisa Mirror. For comparison, the pricier mirror from Anthropologie stands taller and wider at 72.5 inches and 34.75 inches, respectively.
However, Costco Wholesale isn’t the only retailer offering a similar-looking mirror. Sam’s Club, too, has introduced a mirror with a golden finish that competes in size and style. At 72 inches tall and 36 inches wide and weighing 59 pounds, this mirror is a strong contender in the mirror match-up.
But how do the customers feel? Opinions on these mirrors seem to be divided, with some favoring the affordable option from Costco Wholesale, while others prefer the Sam’s Club offering, which comes with a price tag of $149.98. Yet, the conversation always circles back to the luxury and elegance of Anthropologie’s mirror.
Interestingly, Costco’s Ravena Floor Mirror has recently vanished from the online store but can still be spotted in some physical stores. Given its swift selling pace and limited restocking, it appears that this piece has struck a chord with those seeking a touch of luxury at an affordable price.
