Outdoor retailer Anaconda is to launch its largest retail concept yet, dubbed the Anaconda Adventure HQ, within the next month.

Located on the Hume Highway, in the western Sydney suburb of Chullora, the almost 8000sqm store will feature an extended product ranges, including store-exclusive lines and the introduction of boats, camper trailers, and caravans. An interactive fishing simulator and a 40ft aquarium stocked with Australian Bass and Barramundi will be used for fishing demos.

Chris Lude, CEO of Anaconda, said the outdoor concept is unlike anything in the country, and all of the brand’s products will be available under one roof for the first time.

“We know how much Australians love outdoor activities and adventures, so we are proud to evolve “the already popular” Anaconda experience tailored to everyone from first-timers to the most experienced outdoor enthusiasts, said Lude.

“Customers will be able to purchase and register their outdoor vehicles at the same time they purchase clothing, tents, fishing gear and water sports equipment.”

The Sydney store will be the first Anaconda Adventure HQ in Australia, with more planned for Victoria and Queensland.

“While many customers love the convenience and ease of online retail, our customers want to see, touch and try products in real life,” Lude added. “Anaconda Adventure HQ allows them to do this as well as learn about their favourite activities and experience them on the ground in a unique way.”
