Dior will open its first store in Perth late next year, at 277 Murray Street in Wesley Quarter.

The 850sqm store spans two levels and aims to offer customers an “immersive” Dior experience.

“The demand for luxury products continues, and the Perth CBD will see the biggest change in its retailing landscape in the last 30 years,” said Lease Equity MD Jim Tsagalis.

He says the interest in Perth reflects the West Australians’ strong domestic economy and purchasing power.

“Luxury retailing continues to defy retail trends around the world, including in Perth. Since the start of Covid-19, the luxury segment has increased by more than 35 per cent internationally, and the market has expanded to more than $5.5 billion in size.”

Last year, Dior opened its new boutique in the T1 International terminal at Sydney Airport, and named new CEO earlier this year.

Christian Dior’s Perth agreement comes as Lease Equity marks 21 years as the largest start-up commercial real estate agency in WA. The company has negotiated more than 80 per cent of retail lease deals within Perth’s CBD.
