Christmas Tree Shops Opens New Location in Sarasota

New outpost is one of three Florida stores the retailer opened in 2022

Christmas Tree Shops (CTS; Middleboro, Mass.) recently cut the ribbon on its new store in Sarasota, Fla., marking the retailer’s third store opening in the state this year.

The 49,398-square-foot space is located in University Town Center and features “spacious aisles” and large displays for a comfortable shopping experience, CTS said in a release.

Within the last four months, the retailer has opened two other stores within the Sunshine State, one in Estero and the other in Pembroke Pines.

Contrary to its name, CTS is not a year-round Christmas store. Beyond holiday decorating essentials, the retailer offers bed, bath, storage, paper and party goods, and indoor and outdoor home décor.

“Sarasota is an exciting opportunity to introduce our unique brand to more customers,” Owner and CEO Pamela Salkovitz said in the release. “Many people have been eagerly waiting to shop this store. We appreciate their patience and are happy to officially join the community.”

CTS now operates 83 stores in 20 states.
