Bed Bath & Beyond Marketing Head Steps Down

Angela Hsu, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Bed Bath & Beyond, has stepped down from her post. Dave Nielsen, President of the retailer formerly known as Overstock.com, will take over Hsu’s responsibilities while the search for a new CMO kicks off, according to DigitalCommerce 360.

“It’s been a pleasure being the CMO, transforming Overstock.com into a 100% home furnishing retailer in 2022 and swiftly relaunching as the new online Bed Bath & Beyond in August 2023,” Hsu wrote on her LinkedIn page. “Now that this incredible period is a fait accompli, it’s time for me to refocus on one of my other passions: growing companies at the strategic level via Board Director roles.”

Hsu joined Overstock.com as CMO in March 2022 following more than 19 years in roles of increasing responsibility at Lamps Plus, culminating in five years as SVP, Marketing and Ecommerce for the retailer. Prior to Lamps Plus Hsu held roles at News Corp. and Warner Bros. Entertainment.
