Dear Fast-Fashion,

You and I have had some great times together and you once made me so happy, but I think it’s time we go our separate ways…

I’ve been feeling this way for a few years now, and I know my timing sucks since it’s almost Valentine’s Day, but I really needed to get this off my chest; I think we need a break.

There are many reasons why I’ve come to this decision, but the most important one being I’ve grown in a lot of ways and realized that you and I no longer want the same things.

I aspire to be a changemaker in this world and honestly, you’ve been holding me back. I wish I could say it’s not you, it’s me…but don’t think I can.

You were great for me at one point in time, but I don’t see us growing together any longer.

You have so much potential to be everything I know you can be and more. My advice to you? Slow down a bit and learn to care about others a little more. I don’t want to discredit your efforts, because you have been making progress, but I know you are capable of so much more.

Also, for the sake of your future relationships, please learn to be more transparent. There are so many secrets that you failed to share with me and those secrets are ultimately what tore us apart.

This letter isn’t meant to bash you, but I needed to be honest with you and get this off my chest. I loved you deeply once upon a time, but that love has faded away.

I wish you the best and hope you take this letter to heart.

xoxo,

Tyler
