Only half of workers want to keep working past 62

The percentage of American workers who intend to remain on the job after age 62 dropped to 50.1 percent, according to a July labor market survey by the Federal Reserve in New York. Those planning to work past 67 also fell from 34.1 percent last year to 32.4 percent now. Many older Americans with jobs are less inclined to seek new ones than in the past.
