Dan Murphy’s has reopened its doors in Lismore 13 weeks after the devastating floods in the city.

The new store has undergone a complete rebuild since it was submerged.

The reopening ceremony was attended by Lismore Mayor Steve Krieg, Dan Murphy’s NSW state manager Darren Manning, and Lismore store manager Ryan Collin.

Mayor Krieg said the reconstruction of businesses like Dan Murphy’s encourages other small businesses to continue.

“The work that has been done here is absolutely amazing, and I don’t know if you fully appreciate yet what today actually means for our town.”

Darren Manning, Dan Murphy’s NSW state manager., said the company felt privileged to be able to reopen in Lismore and looks forward to continuing to serve and support the local community.

“Our thoughts continue to be with all our customers, team members and communities that the flood crisis has impacted,” he said.
