Workers prefer longer days and shorter workweeks

A Washington Post-Ipsos survey of working adults finds that 75 percent would prefer working four 10-hour days instead of five eight-hour ones. Workers say the extra day off gives them more time to recover and complete personal tasks. Employers, however, do not appear to be in a rush to move away from the five-day workweek.
