Target got what it wanted for Christmas. The retailer’s foot traffic increased 6.2 percent during the holiday season compared to 2019, according to Placer.ai. Shopper visits to Walmart fell 0.1 percent on a two-year basis and those at Best Buy fell 11.5 percent.
