Key tech companies pull out of in-person CES show

Meta (Facebook), Twitter, T-Mobile, Amazon and Amazon’s subsidiary, Ring, are among the exhibitors that have canceled their participation in the CES 2022 in-person conference and exhibition scheduled for Jan. 5 – 8 in Las Vegas. Although the Consumer Technology Association is insisting that all attendees show proof of vaccination against COVID-19, exhibitors are wary of sending their personnel “due to the spike in Covid cases across the country in the past week,” as per a spokesperson from Twitter.
