Starbucks to issue ‘clearer’ rules for in-store displays after Pride Month dustup

Starbucks intends to provide “clearer” guidelines for visual displays in stores after baristas at unionized locations said the company banned some Pride-themed decorations this month. Sara Tilling, president of Starbucks North America, said in a memo that the chain’s guidelines “will continue to represent inclusivity and our brand.”
