Fed survey shows more Americans are struggling with higher prices

The percentage of U.S. adults who said they were doing “at least OK financially” fell to 73 percent in 2022, down from 78 percent in 2021, according to a Federal Reserve Bank’s “Survey of Household Economics and Decisionmaking.” Thirty-five percent said they were worse off financially than the year before, up from 20 percent in 2021.
