Unemployment claims dropped to another pandemic low last week

Around 440,000 Americans filed first-time unemployment claims last week, the lowest level since the pandemic hit the U.S. last year. Last week’s numbers were down 34,000 from the previous week. Around 2.3 million Americans filed for unemployment at the same time last year.
