There has been a rapid drop in the on-demand trucking market since the beginning of 2022, which could be a sign that the U.S. economy is about to hit the skids. “It is the proverbial ‘canary in the mineshaft’,” said Joseph Rajkovacz, director of governmental affairs for the Western States Trucking Association.
