Cannabis in all its forms is expected to set a one-day sales record today in the 21 states and Washington, D.C., where adults can purchase it without fear of arrest. “We’ll probably see two-and-a-half times the normal Thursday sales … we’ve been upping our production in anticipation of record sales,” said Nick Rinella, CEO of Hippos, which operates recreational and medicinal dispensaries in Missouri.
