Smoking marijuana may be worse for your health than cigarettes

A new study published in the journal Radiology finds that people who smoke marijuana may be more likely to develop respiratory issues than those who smoke only tobacco. “There is a public perception that marijuana is safe and people think that it’s safer than cigarettes,” said Giselle Revah, a radiologist who helped conduct the study at the Ottawa Hospital. “This study raises concerns that might not be true.”
