Calvin Klein chief executive steps down
PVH’s Trish Donnelly, chief executive officer for PVH Americas and Calvin Klein global, is exiting the business. The fashion firm announced Donnelly’s departure last week, and said she would remain in an advisory role through to the end of November.
“I want to thank Trish for her strong commitment, hard work, and dedication to our people, brands, and businesses. She played a key role in helping navigate a challenging retail environment as we emerged from the height of the pandemic,” said CEO of PVH Corp Stefan Larsson.
Moving forward, Donnelly’s role will be split into two separate positions: a head of PVH Americas, and a leadership role at Calvin Klein.
“In the current environment, it is critical to redouble our focus on execution to unlock the full potential of the Americas region and also to continue to grow the Calvin Klein brand globally,” Larsson said.
“We will significantly improve our ability to execute the PVH+ Plan by splitting these roles and bringing on leaders with different skill sets who can devote their full attention to these important roles.“

Former chief executive of textile giant Inditex, Pablo Isla, has started his own film production company, saying in a statement on Friday that he hoped to use his “deep passion for film” and business experience to advance Spain’s movie industry.
Isla stepped down from the owner of the global fashion brand Zara in April after more than a decade leading the company’s global expansion, passing the torch to Marta Ortega, the daughter of Inditex owner Amancio Ortega, who took over as non-executive chairwoman.
Following his departure from Inditex in April, Isla has remained a member of the board of Nestlé, joined U.S. private equity firm General Atlantic as a global senior adviser, and became advisory board chairman at Spain’s IE University.
“I intend to contribute my business experience to the audiovisual world and, based on my deep passion for film, help the development of the thriving Spanish audiovisual industry,” Isla wrote in the statement issued by the new company, Fonte Films.
