CBRE Investment Management (CBRE IM) has announced the official launch of Deichmann at the Ashley Centre in Epsom. 

The retail giant’s new store has opened in the former Sports Direct unit, covering 3,498 sq ft, following a £400k investment by Deichmann, reflecting the brand’s new retail format to deliver a more spacious and modern shopping experience.

Creating 16 jobs for the local area, the new store stocks a full range of men’s, women’s, and children’s shoes, as well as unique and exclusive lines from brands. It also stocks its collaboration footwear with various celebrities.

Simon Wilson, Managing Director for Product, Marketing and Communications at Deichmann, said: “Our latest store at the Ashley Centre is a huge investment and will enable us to deliver our wide variety of products to a new community. The designed retail format has gone down particularly well over the last few months, and it’s exciting to launch the new concept within a destination also undergoing significant investment, making Epsom a strong addition to our portfolio.”

Suiting multiple demographics and delivering an assortment of likeable brands, they are a fantastic addition to the scheme, utilising a prominent space within the centre. We are continuing to deliver our long-term strategy to provide a broader offer, with the likes of JD and GAIL’s selecting the Ashley Centre, as well as welcoming one of the largest footwear retailers in Europe.”
