Papa Johns Reinvents Stuffed Crust With Cheesy Calzone Twist

Papa Johns, a notable player in the pizza industry, has introduced the Cheesy Calzone Epic Stuffed Crust Pizza to its Epic Stuffed Crust lineup. This new offering is a fusion of pizza and calzone, built on the brand’s original, never-frozen dough that is hand-stuffed with mozzarella and garlic-herb ricotta.

This latest menu addition follows the release of the popular pepperoni and garlic variants and continues Papa Johns’ tradition of innovating traditional pizza crust. The Cheesy Calzone Epic Stuffed Crust Pizza is served with an additional side of pizza sauce, giving customers a novel dipping experience.

The new pizza is now available to Papa Rewards loyalty members as of Dec. 18. A nationwide rollout is expected on Dec. 26, with a starting price of $14.99 for a one-topping pizza.

Papa Johns is also set to launch Cheesy Calzone Papa Bites after the new year on Jan. 22 for loyalty members. This new product will be available to all customers starting Jan. 29, offering a bite-sized take on the brand’s calzone-inspired flavor.

In an effort to promote these new products, Papa Johns will be granting a sneak peek to select influencers who will sample the innovations ahead of the official launch. Updates and promotional content will be shared through the brand’s Instagram account (@papajohns) as part of its holiday season campaign.
