7-Eleven Reinvigorates Its Bring Your Own Cup Day for Slurpees
April 12, 2024
On April 13, 7-Eleven will host its annual Bring Your Own Cup Day, a unique event allowing customers to fill their chosen containers with Slurpees for a flat fee of $1.99. This promotion extends to participating locations, including Speedway and Stripes.
While the premise might seem whimsical, there are specific guidelines to follow. Containers must fit upright in a 10-inch cutout display to accommodate the Slurpee dispenser, ensuring a seamless experience for customers. Additionally, only one container per customer is allowed, and it must meet cleanliness and leak-proof standards.
All of the partakers have the opportunity to explore an array of flavors, ranging from 7-Eleven’s special seasonal offerings like Chili Mango and Fanta Dragonfruit Zero to perennial favorites such as Coca-Cola, Cherry, Blue Raspberry, and Pina Colada.
For those who might not be inclined to bring their own container, you can still use a traditional Slurpee cup. Additionally, members of the 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards loyalty programs can enjoy a large Slurpee for just $1.
Dennis Phelps, senior vice president of merchandising at 7-Eleven, emphasized in a statement the event’s tradition and the company’s delight in witnessing customers of all ages engage with their creativity while enjoying the iconic Slurpee beverage.
“BYOC Day is a time-honored tradition at 7-Eleven that we look forward to each year. We love seeing our customers — of all ages — bring their imagination and creativity to life while enjoying our beloved Slurpee drink.”

Bring Your Own Cup Day presents an opportunity for customers to indulge in a unique experience while savoring their favorite frozen treat. Whether filling up a novelty item or sticking with the classic cup, participants can look forward to a memorable and refreshing occasion at their local 7-Eleven store.
