New Frozen Treats by OREO for St. Patrick’s Day

March 15, 2024

OREO, the popular cookie brand, is ready for St. Patrick’s Day with a frosty surprise. While it won’t be handing out pots of gold, it’s offering a chance to snag some delicious treats.

To take part in the Pot-o-OREO Frozen Treats giveaway organized by Fooji, keep your eyes peeled for a rainbow between March 15 and 17, following the National Weather Service’s rainbow-spotting guidelines. Snap a picture, share it on Instagram or X (formerly Twitter), tag @Oreo, and use #OreoFrozenTreats and #Sweepstakes. It’s as straightforward as that.

Those who enter the giveaway will be contacted on Instagram via DM with the next steps to follow.

Introduced last year, OREO’s mint-flavored frozen treats made quite a splash in tub form. This year, the brand is expanding its repertoire to include OREO Mint Bars, OREO Mint Sandwiches, and smaller tubs.

Caroline Suppiger, a senior associate brand manager at OREO, expressed the company’s commitment to constantly innovating and satisfying its loyal fans. “OREO as a brand is always testing new ways to reinvent our unique and fan-favorite cookie. This philosophy extends to the Frozen Treats line as well, which is why this year we are so excited to expand our Oreo Mint portfolio with three new tasty frozen treat varieties,” she said.

This expansion follows the success of OREO Frozen Treats introduced two years ago, with Mint flavor joining the lineup in 2023 with a 48-ounce tub. The new releases include OREO Mint Bars, featuring a sweet mint creme-flavored base packed with OREO cookie pieces and dipped in a coating made from crushed OREO wafer pieces. OREO Mint Sandwiches offer a similar minty delight sandwiched between two OREO cookie wafers, while the 14-ounce tubs provide a scoopable option for easy enjoyment.

OREO Mint Frozen Treats are now available nationwide. For more information and to locate them near you, visit oreofrozentreats.com.
