Serena Williams Debuts Wyn Beauty Line

April 4, 2024

Serena Williams, known for her prowess on the tennis court, is stepping into the world of beauty with her latest venture, Wyn Beauty. This brand, pronounced “win,” offers a lineup of 10 products designed for individuals with active lifestyles.

“I’ve always been into beauty. But when you’re a tennis player, there’s only so much that you can do because you’re out there on the court for hours. You move and sweat a lot, and you wipe everything away. Then, imagine you’re on center court and you’re winning, and then you have 15 minutes to get ready before your press conference — and that includes undoing all the tape jobs and showering. You want to look halfway decent after sweating for hours.”

Reflecting on her journey, Williams acknowledged the challenges of maintaining a polished appearance during grueling tennis matches and quick turnarounds for press conferences. With Wyn Beauty, she aims to provide solutions for those moments when time is limited and performance is paramount.

Drawing from her own experiences traveling the world, Williams emphasizes the importance of inclusivity in makeup, recalling a time when finding the right foundation shade was a struggle. Wyn Beauty, with its 91 different SKUs, seeks to address such concerns.

The collection’s packaging, featuring a vibrant tennis ball green, pays homage to Williams’ athletic background and energy on the court. With products ranging from lip tints to waterproof eyeliners, Wyn Beauty offers versatility for individuals on the go.

Williams highlighted some of her favorite products, including the MVP Lip and Cheek Tint and the Hydrating Skin Tint with SPF 30. She emphasized the importance of simplicity in her beauty routine, particularly as she balances her roles as an entrepreneur and a mother.

Sharing moments of beauty with her daughter Olympia, Williams finds joy in their interactions, even when makeup experiments go awry. Despite her busy schedule, she prioritizes feeling comfortable and confident in her own skin, advocating for a minimalistic approach to beauty.

As Serena Williams continues to make her mark in various arenas, Wyn Beauty stands as a testament to her dedication to empowering individuals to look and feel their best, no matter the circumstances.
