December 20, 2021
Store banners read “Everything must go” and “90 percent off” leading up to the final day of business for the Kmart in Grass Valley, CA, a store that local residents say was the only comparable shopping destination in town. According to reports, Kmart management will close all but six U.S. stores by the end of 2021. The Grass Valley location will reportedly be replaced by a Target store.
