Survey: Millionaires somewhat bearish on Christmas gifts this year

According to the CNBC Millionaires Survey, 68 percent of this affluent class of consumer have planned to spend about the same amount this holiday season as last year and 12 percent will spend less. Only about 2 in ten say they will increase their spending. Thirty-nine percent of the respondents in the survey were Millennials. Among the influences on their actions, 28 percent cited concerns of supply chain disruptions as a reason why they’ll buy more gift cards this year.
