Bed Bath & Beyond files price gouging complaint against ocean carrier

Bankrupt Bed Bath & Beyond has filed a complaint with U.S. maritime regulators alleging that Orient Overseas Container Line engaged in “brazen price gouging and profiteering” to the tune of $31.7 million in extra freight charges. The company seeks to recoup the costs as it goes through its bankruptcy proceedings.
