Adidas loses lawsuit over luxury designer’s use of stripes

Adidas failed to convince an eight-person jury in New York that Thom Brown infringed on its trademark when the luxury designer used four stripes in its designs. Adidas, which is known for its three-stripe sneakers, said that the Thom Browne designs were similar to its own.
