Lululemon is selling shirts made with plant-based nylon

Lululemon has begun selling shirts made with nylon manufactured with raw materials from plants rather than petrochemicals. The shirts come from a partnership with Geno, which uses microorganisms to create plant-based nylon. The retailer’s new shirts are made from at least 50 percent of the plant-based nylon, 40 percent recycled polyester and three percent elastane (30 percent of which is made from plants).
