October 26, 2023

The New York Post reported “today’s a big day for all the Starbucks lovers out there. On Thursday, Oct. 26, the coffee chain is offering Starbucks Rewards members the opportunity to get their drinks half off.”

Dubbed “Yay Day,” Starbucks shared on their website stating; “Rewards members, enjoy half off ANY handcrafted drink from 12-6 PM this Thursday, 10/26.”

Today’s Yay Day event at Starbucks is taking place from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. local time. The event is a nationwide affair, available exclusively through the Starbucks mobile app, where customers can find and apply a special coupon at checkout.

However, patrons seeking home comfort should note that Starbucks’ “Yay Day” promotion cannot be redeemed for Starbucks delivery via platforms such as Uber Eats or DoorDash. The offer is only applicable at U.S. company-operated stores and participating licensed outlets.

Each customer will have the opportunity to enjoy one handcrafted beverage—a testament to the craftsmanship of your local Starbucks barista. The offer is all-encompassing: size isn’t a limitation, with all standard menu sizes being eligible for the deal. Yet, it’s crucial to note that canned and bottled beverages alongside alcoholic drinks are exempt from the offer.

This one-day event corresponds with another celebration, as today also marks National Pumpkin Day. This serendipitous timing allows fall enthusiasts to utilize their coupons to savor seasonal favorites like the beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Having celebrated the 20th anniversary of this iconic seasonal drink this year, Starbucks revealed that hundreds of millions of cups of Pumpkin Spice Latte have been consumed over the past two decades. Today, Starbucks patrons across the nation are encouraged to add to this impressive number by cashing in their “Yay Day” coupon, immersing themselves in the flavors of the season.
