Walmart finds new CFO at PayPal

Walmart has hired John Rainey, chief financial officer at PayPal, as its new CFO, effective June 6. Mr. Rainey will replace Walmart’s long-time CFO Brett Biggs. Jefferies analyst Stephanie Wissink said Mr. Rainey’s hiring will prove valuable for Walmart “as a provider of financial services for its customers.”
