Meet online retail giant Coupang, Korea’s answer to Amazon

It has been almost exactly a year since Coupang became the first Korean company to list directly on the New York Stock Exchange. Expectations then were running high for the country’s largest e-commerce player.  So high that it was routinely referred to as the ‘Amazon of Korea’ because it mimics much of what Amazon does well and sells across the same broad range of categories.
