Digital ad growth slows for Alphabet

Google parent Alphabet reported that ad sales on YouTube grew a lower than expected 14 percent in the most recent quarter as some advertisers pulled ads with the advent of Russia’s unprovoked attack on Ukraine. The company’s search ads were up 24 percent, well below the 36 percent increase from the quarter of 2021.
